Griddled Tuna and Asparagus

With summer just around the corner (I am choosing to ignore Portland’s recent downpours), I wanted to find a dish that was both light enough to eat on a warm, sunny evening, but filling enough that I wouldn’t go scouring the candy drawer for a sweet treat within the hour. I stumbled upon this recipe recently while thumbing through one of our many Jamie Oliver cookbooks. It requires few ingredients and can be cooked fast enough that you can have fork in hand within 20 minutes. I bought the tuna from our local Whole Foods and certainly paid a premium for steaks of this quality, but it was totally worth it!
